With more attention to detail and a full redesign, the 2017 Kia Cadenza has edged even closer to the luxury car it has always sought to be. According to Kia, the redesigned premium sedan features a more angular, sharper look than the 2016 model.
Power Trains and Performance
Prepare to feel the strength of the 3.3-liter V-6 engine of the 2017 Cadenza with a horsepower estimated at 290 horsepower. According to Kia, the car has been re-tuned to give you better fuel economy. In addition, the 2017 model has been paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission for that powerful thrust.
Trim levels and Options
The 2017 Cadenza comes in two different grilles. The lower trim models have the “Diamond Butterfly” front grille featuring the same 3-dimensional pattern common within the Kia lineup, but now with its unique concave shape appearance.
With the higher trim models, you get the “Intaglio” grille that features faceted blades that are vertically oriented. Part of the redesign is a lower and wider stance.
Enhanced Interior Features
Inside, the 2017 model has upped the luxury level with the addition of more soft-touch materials. Now, the driver seat is mounted lower and offers more adjustability. Newly introduced technology features include improved surround view monitor, an available head-up display, automatically opening trunk as well as a wireless smartphone charger. You will have the option of equipping your car with a Harman Kardon 12-speaker premium audio system.
